This morning it was cold and sunny.
07:30am – as always my buddy did great – pee, 3 poops, attacking his pine cone and then breakfast. All in all a fine start to the day.
11:00am – Session 1.
He was awesome – we worked crate (he can’t jump into it yet), awesome chained behaviors and then we played ultimate workout with the nerf football. It took him a few times to generalize but he got it.
Because he is Babe – the super dog ❤️
4:00pm – Session 2
Babe was a happy boy today, but he’s pretty much always a happy boy when he gets to learn.
Today was another busy day in the field with kids, people, and other dogs. Today I worked him on paying attention to me but in a less controlled environment.
We played ball while others were a distraction to him. The goal was to have him focus back on me and keep playing the ultimate workout game. As always I made sure the leash was on and that if he broke from me to engage others I could use the leash to bring him back and ensure that he was safe along with others in the environment. This is always our first priority.
I am happy to report that he was steller and not once did I need to ask for his control back. I worked most of his behaviors and he did great with those as well.
6:00pm – play time and dinner.
8:00pm – play time and walk.
10:00pm – play time and walk.
