This morning it was cold and sunny.
07:30am – Babe was awesome this morning but he did urinate a little in his crate. I think it was because had a lot of water after the 1.5 mile the evening before. But still ended up peeing for 1 minute!
11:00am – Session 1.
We worked his state of calm. This is a very tough order for an excited little guy who is ready to work.
But we persevered.
I knelt in front of him and put him in a down. Then the pattern was 5 pats without him twisting, turning or being a nincompoop and he would get his hot dog. But with a puppy who has that much energy you have to give them a chance to get it out.
So we did ultimate workout and went back to calm state.
4:00pm – Session 2
Today Babe did great with getting his leash on as it was our focus the past few sessions. He has learned there are times to be excited and times to be calm or calmer for right now. He is a quick learner and I know this won’t take to many more sessions for him to understand.
Because he did so well the rest of the session was working on all his other behaviors and working on his understanding of what was asked. He is moving forward with understanding in all these areas.
6:00pm – play time and dinner.
8:00pm – play time and walk.
10:00pm – play time and walk.
